ABOUT KENDALL

Hey y'all, my name is Kendall (she/hers) ! I am in my third year at Rice and I am from Martel College. I'm from Louisiana and I have been remote this year serving as the Student Association Internal Vice President. I went to school in a really conservative, un-diverse area, so when I came to Rice I loved getting to know people from so many different backgrounds and I immediately fell in love with the university and Houston. I've served as an O-Week PAA in 2019 and 2020 and an O-Week advisor in 2019, and I was introduced to student government at Rice by serving as a New Student Representative for the SA my freshman year.  I love ramen (seriously, Jinya Ramen Bar is my favorite restaurant) and snickerdoodles from Tiff's Treats (honestly I love most sweets). Videogaming is a beloved hobby of mine and I also enjoy reading and publishing fanfiction (my username has remained a secret for years). Before covid, I loved partying at Rice and I've met so many amazing people while there!  As your next Student Association President, I will always emphasize my status as a fellow student attending our campus. I look forward to not only representing you and advocating with you, but also having the chance to meet even more of you through my position and getting to know you at beer bike (2022?), in classes, serveries, Fondy, and around campus :)
